Eligibility for a Bupa Foundation medical research grant

Health professionals working for public or private organisations may apply for Bupa Foundation medical research grants for UK-based projects. Unfortunately the Foundation cannot consider application via registered charities but can only consider applications directly from medical researchers.

Study for higher/further degrees, medical electives, educational courses, seminars, conferences etc., although valuable activities, are not eligible for grants.

Similarly the Bupa Foundation does not fund the writing of reviews under the research grants scheme, although they may be the subject of specially commissioned research in a specialist themed grant area at the appropriate time.

If you are considering applying for a Bupa Foundation medical research grant, please use our online eligibility test to see if your project will qualify.
